Your average FCS games against non-Division I opponents are off the national radar most weeks, but by the regular season’s end, the question of who has played which of these games could matter in comparing the win totals of playoff hopefuls.
The FCS teams that are lining up against foes like Thomas More and Central Washington in the nonconference window will have (at least) one fewer chance at a D1 win than other subdivision contenders. The FCS vs. non-D1 slate this year runs from Week 1’s batch of matchups to the Turkey Day Classic between Alabama State and Tuskegee.
