The FCS playoff committee released its Top 10 ranking today during the College Football Live show on ESPN2. The ranking is a snapshot of where the committee has teams currently ranked.
The second reveal will be Nov. 5.

Here is the committee’s Top 10:

The committee will consider each team’s resume that includes, but is not limited to, won-lost record, their strength of schedule, Regional Advisory Committee rankings/feedback, and games reviewed by the committee on video. Secondary tools are four metrics that may be considered, all including only games from the current season (KPI, Massey Ratings, and ESPN’s two Football Power Indexes).
Expect a lot of changes between now and Selection Sunday. Some key games remaining include SDSU hosting NDSU, UND hosting NDSU and SDSU, Montana State hosting UC Davis, Montana hosting Montana State, and Tarleton State playing three ranked opponents.
The FCS Selection Show will air on ESPNU at noon ET on Nov. 23.
The national championship game is Jan. 5 at Vanderbilt’s FirstBank Stadium in Nashville.
