FCS teams take on the FBS 114 times in the 2020 season. This is the same number of matchups in 2019 while there were 111 in 2018 and 98 in 2017.
Just three FCS programs earned wins over the top division in college football in 2019. That was way below average with seven FCS over FBS wins in 2018, nine in 2017 and 10 in 2016.
