James Madison was the consensus No. 2 team entering the 2018 FCS season. But there were still plenty of questions on just what this JMU team would look like. A new starting quarterback and a ton of new starters on the defense left people wondering.
But people forget Mike Houston and his staff have brought in some of the best recruiting classes in the subdivision. Now in the third season with this coaching regime, the level of recruiting is starting to show.
The Dukes competed well at North Carolina State to open the season and had a chance to win. And while the next four FCS opponents aren't exactly powerhouses, JMU has still annihilated the opposition.
