Dan Mullen arrived in Gainesville wearing his national championship ring from 2008, when he was Gators' offensive coordinator. Florida is paying him a ton of money to win another one, this time as head coach.

Mullen was introduced as Florida head coach on Monday, officially ending weeks of rumors that the longtime Mississippi State coach may return to Gainesivlle, where he was an assistant for four seasons (2005-08) before going to Starkville.
"I’m fired up. I’m excited," he said moments after departing a private jet.
Of course he is; he just signed a contract that makes him one of the highest-paid coaches in college football.
According to Pat Dooley of GatorSports.com, Mullen's contract is a six-year, $36-million deal. While 2018 contracts for all FBS head coaches have not been finalized yet, the annual salary of $6 million would rank fifth nationally in 2017 and second in the SEC. He was earning $4.5 million per year at Mississippi State, which was 14th in the country and fourth in the conference.
