28: Josh Davis, RB (So.) — Weber State

Note: Davis is wearing No. 20 in 2019.

Davis took the FCS by storm last year. He won the Jerry Rice Award as the best freshman in the FCS, earned All-Big Sky First Team and Freshman of the Year honors and was named to multiple All-American teams.

At 5-foot-9 and 195 pounds, Davis is dangerous whenever the ball is in his hands. He finished 10th in the FCS in all-purpose yards with 148.2 per game. Davis ran for 1,362 yards and nine touchdowns off of 250 carries, caught 30 passes for 193 yards and returned 14 punts for 224 yards and a touchdown.

It didn't take long for him to make an impact rushing for 499 yards and four touchdowns in his first three games last year. Davis has excellent vision near the line of scrimmage and blistering speed once he's in the open field.

The Sandy, Utah native enters his sophomore year on the HERO Sports All-American Second Team.
