17: Robby Hauck, S (SO.) — Montana

Back-to-back selections for the Grizzlies with Samuel Akem selected at No. 18. That goes to show just how much talent Montana has — four players are on our Preseason All-American Teams.

One of those players is Hauck, who is on the Second Team. He was named a HERO Sports Freshman All-American last year.

Hauck, who is the son of Montana head coach Bobby Hauck, transferred from Northern Arizona to play for the Griz in the spring of 2018. He won the starting safety job and was a standout all season. Hauck totaled 95 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and four pass breakups.

He earned All-Big Sky Honorable Mention honors and finished seventh in voting for the Jerry Rice Award, giving to the top freshman in the FCS.
