5: Zach Hall, LB (Sr.) — Southeast Missouri State

Hall was the best defensive player in the FCS last year and was honored as such, being named the Buck Buchanan Award winner. He wreaked havoc all over the field, racking up a single-season school record and an FCS-leading 168 total tackles in 13 games. Hall added 12 tackles for loss, four interceptions, two sacks and four forced fumbles.

The 6-foot and 238-pounder was also the OVC's Defensive Player of the Year and was named to eight different All-American teams, including the HERO Sports First Team.

Hall had double-digit tackles in 10 games and 15 or more tackles in five games. He began the season with 22 total tackles against FBS Arkansas State. His dominant year came after a 2017 season that saw Hall earn All-Conference Second Team honors after totaling 79 tackles, 15 TFLs and nine sacks.

Hall enters his senior season on HERO Sports' Preseason All-American First Team. He'll have plenty of NFL eyes on him as Draft Scout ranks Hall the 16th-best small-school pro prospect
