HERO Sports is going to count down each day by highlighting the best player in the FCS who wears the jersey number equal to the number of days until kickoff. You can find the running list of top players here.

*Note: Jersey numbers are from the 2018 season.

58: Zach Larsen, OL (Sr.) — Southern Utah

Larsen has been performing at an All-American level since his sophomore year in 2017. HERO Sports named him a sophomore All-American, and he earned All-American honors from STATS and Phil Steele as well. Larsen was a 2018 All-American for Walter Camp and Phil Steele. He added First Team All-Big Sky Conference honors both years.

At 6-foot-1 and 305 pounds, Larsen is a punishing blocker from his center spot. Putting him as a preseason First Team All-American was an easy choice for us.

"It's crazy that it's my senior year, it's hard to believe it's gone this fast, but I wouldn't have it any other way," Larsen said. "I love SUU. I'm glad that I can be in this position to lead this team and I hope I can help them out any way I can."
