Welcome to the 2020 FCS Jersey Countdown.
Throughout the May-August months, HERO Sports is going to name the best returning FCS player by jersey number, 99-1. Due to rosters being updated at different times for teams across the country and to keep things consistent, jersey numbers are based on the 2019 season.
*Note: Jersey numbers are based on 2019 rosters.
68: Eric Wilson, OL (Sr.) — Harvard
Wilson emerged as a top offensive lineman in the Ivy League last season. After playing in all 10 games for the second straight season, Wilson earned Second Team All-Conference honors.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pound Minnesota native was a huge recruiting get for Harvard in 2017. Wilson had offers from just about every Ivy League team along with FBS offers from Colorado State, Florida Atlantic, Iowa State, Miami (OH), Minnesota, New Mexico, Ohio, Western Michigan and Wyoming, according to 247Sports.
The three-star recruit chose Harvard and was ranked the 16th best overall FCS recruit.
He has been a key part of the offensive line these last two seasons. Wilson especially took a big step forward last year, setting himself up for a big 2020 season.
