The Canadian Football League apparently sees FCS players as a good building block within their nine-team league. There are nearly 80 FCS products on their rosters as of this week.

With nearly 80 FCS products helping comprise the rosters of nine Canadian Football League franchises, one can see the CFL is keeping a close eye on these ranks. With QBs like Bo Levi Mitchell (Eastern Washington), Ricky Ray (Sacramento State), Matt Nichols (Eastern Washington) and Travis Lulay (Montana State), the league employs playmakers who have good numbers this year and have won postseason honors in recent seasons. South Dakota's Chris Streveler — who was a finalist for the FCS Walter Payton Award (level's equivalent to the Heisman) has also performed well with his arm and feet.
Cornell's Luke Tasker is one of the league's top receivers and Montana State's Alex Singleton has been recognized before as one of the league's top linebackers.
