16: Jerry Louie-McGee, junior wide receiver — Montana
Montana's young, shifty punt returner is growing up fast.
JLM will be a redshirt junior in 2018, with plenty of accolades behind him, and perhaps a few records in front of him, too. The combination receiver/return specialist led the Griz in receiving in 2016, which earned him a spot as a finalist for the Jerry Rice award.
Last season, as a sophomore, Louie-McGee racked up exactly 1,000 yards of total offense, with 54 rushing yards, 645 receiving yards, 150 punt return yards, and 151 kickoff return yards. When Montana needs to move the ball, JLM can do it all.
Louie-McGee, who is underrated as a possession receiver, already has 133 career catches, with two years still left to play. He ranked ninth in the Big Sky last year with 4.5 catches per game, which earned him an Honorable Mention spot on the All-Conference list. We're thinking a third-straight all-purpose 1,000 yard season likely lies ahead in 2018.
