34: Solomon Brown, LB (Sr.) — Charleston Southern
Solomon Brown knows a thing or two about how to shut down offenses and win conference championships.
Once upon a time, Solomon Brown was named the Big South Freshman of the Year. That was back in 2015, during his redshirt freshman season. Brown didn't waste time flashing his potential as a playmaker, as he totaled more than 65 tackles in each of his first two seasons in Charleston. In related news, the Bucs won back-to-back Big South titles from 2015-16.
Charleston Southern took a step back in 2017, thanks to roster departures and the meteoric rise of Kennesaw State. Brown was still making plays for the Bucs defense, though — his eight TFL's and one interception helped him to a third consecutive spot on the Big South's First-Team Defense.
Keep an eye on Brown in 2018, as he chases some of the big hardware. This guy could be the Big South's Defensive Player of the Year.
