It's been awhile since Murray State controlled its own championship and FCS Playoff destiny this late in the year, but here the Racers are — traveling this weekend to Eastern Kentucky with a 3-0 Ohio Valley Conference record. MSU head coach Mitch Stewart goes on the record to talk about that (below) with HERO Sports' Brian McLaughlin for the FCS Coaches Corner.

After an 0-3 start that included a loss to arguably the top Kentucky team in decades, the Racers are undefeated in October and want to continue that this weekend against the Colonels.
As usual, the program is putting up some points, not scoring fewer than 45 points in the current three-game win streak. Buffalo QB transfer Drew Anderson has fallen into a good rhythm, throwing for 1431 yards and 10 scores while rushing for 3 TDs, the kicker — Gabriel Vincente – is a perfect 8-for-8, the defense has piled up 35 tackles for loss in six games, and nine players have caught 10 or more passes.
There are several key points to be proud of, and the head coach goes on the record to talk about it (below)
