The Celebration Bowl picture stayed largely the same this week as both Grambling State and North Carolina A&T won to stay atop in the Southwestern Athletic Conference and the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

NC A&T Leads MEAC
North Carolina A&T stayed perfect on the season and added a MEAC win with a 35-7 blowout win over Norfolk State. At 9-0 overall (for the first time in school history) and 6-0 in conference play, NC A&T has matchups left against Savannah State and second-place NC Central, which should present the Aggies with their toughest conference matchup of the season.
NC Central put Hampton away 14-6 to improve to 7-2 overall and 5-1 in conference play. Howard also continued its impressive season with a win over Florida A&M to improve to 5-1 in conference action. The NC A&T vs. NC Central matchup still looks like it will be the deciding factor in the MEAC's representative in the Celebration Bowl.

Grambling Leads SWAC
The Grambling State Tigers held off Arkansas-Pine Bluff 31-26 to remain the only perfect team in SWAC play at 5-0 in the SWAC West and 8-1 overall, the lone loss an FBS loss to Tulane. Grambling has Alabama State and Southern left before the SWAC championship.
In the East, Alcorn State looks like the likely SWAC Championship challenger for Grambling, as the Braves improved to 4-1 in the SWAC East after a 47-22 win over Alabama A&M.
