James Madison cornerback Jimmy Moreland is creating a buzz for himself already in practice leading up to the East-West Shrine Game.
Moreland, at 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds, was a First Team All-American in 2018 for the Dukes.
He finished his career with 63 passes defended and 18 interceptions, which he returned for a total of 363 yards and six touchdowns.

Moreland is one of the top NFL Draft prospects in the FCS and hopes his stock continues to grow.

NFLDraftScout currently ranks Moreland the 28th best cornerback in the draft. There are some concerns about his size, but this week gives him an opportunity to squash those concerns.
.@JMUFootball CB Jimmy Moreland is one of the smallest dudes out here at 5-10, 175 but I can already tell I like this guy. Had an INT in 1-on-1s, and he is really twitchy of an athlete. pic.twitter.com/5kpqfQfGKd

So far, Moreland has impressed and is shedding that "small school" label as an FCS player.
