The FCS playoff picture is starting to get a little more clear as we enter the backstretch of the 2018 season. But one fan base still has a number of fans (not all) that are confused why their team isn't seeded higher.
Kennesaw State is 6-1 with an FBS loss. The Owls have dominated, scoring in the 50s while holding opponents to less than 20 points. Yet in our playoff projections, we have them as the fifth seed.

Our Twitter mentions, especially Sam Herder's, have been on fire. There seems to be confusion from some KSU fans on how the playoff system works. As Sam points out, he's been told all that matters at the end of the day are wins and losses and the regular-season finale against ranked Jacksonville State is not important for the playoff picture.
Both are blatantly false.
So the guys took some time on this week's podcast to explain why a dominating KSU team isn't deserving quite yet to automatically be looked at as a Top 2 seed, how the playoff system works and the criteria the FCS playoff committee looks at (32:30).
