64: Thomas Burton, Senior Offensive Lineman – Tennessee State
He might have been hamstrung by injury in 2017, but Tennessee State's Thomas Burton remains one of the best offensive lineman in the OVC.
A preseason all-conference selection in 2017, Burton struggled to get on the field after an injury during August camp took him out of the offensive line's rotation at left tackle. His unit started the season without him, but TSU's big boys up front still managed to pave the way for 238 rushing yards in the Tigers' season-opening win over FBS Georgia State.
As long as he stays healthy, Burton should lock down a veteran group of linemen in 2018 during his senior season. The OVC should once again recognize him as a player to look out for in 2018, and the Tigers should improve on their 1,540 rush yards from last season.
