71: Chandler Arceneaux, senior offensive lineman — Nicholls

The Colonels are loaded with returning starters on offense and defense after appearing in the playoffs last year. The offensive line is one unit that should be a strength for Nicholls. Leading the way is Arceneaux at right tackle. Since his freshman year in 2015, he's had seasons of 10, 11 and 12 starts. The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder was a 2016 HERO Sports FCS Sophomore All-American First Team member.

Last year, Arceneaux earned All-Southland Second Team honors. Nicholls finished second in the conference with 200.2 yards rushing per game. With experience returning up front, the offensive line has big expectations for 2018.

“This spring is about us coming together and building even more chemistry than we already had,” Arceneaux told the Daily Comet. “We are trying to be the best group in the conference this year. We just want to be consistent every play. We want 4 yards on every first down and we want to convert on third down.”
