The countdown to the 2018 college football season is on. Four FCS teams are in action Aug. 25 as Duquesne takes on UMass, Prairie View faces Rice and North Carolina A&T and Jacksonville State square off in ESPN’s FCS Kickoff.

23: Nasir Adderley, DB (Sr.) — Delaware
There is no better way to describe Adderley than as a human highlight reel. He can cover. He can hit. And he can make plays with the ball in his hand.
Adderley is entering his fourth season as a starting cornerback. He finished second on the team last year with 78 tackles and had a team-high 42 solo tackles. Adderley added five interceptions, which he returned for a total of 135 yards, and two forced fumbles. He channeled his inner Odell Beckham Jr. on one interception and made it on SportsCenter's Top Plays, which can be seen in the video below.
An All-CAA First Team pick, Adderley is one of two returning FCS players who recorded 75 tackles and at least five interceptions last year. He's one of the top defensive backs in the subdivision and was named on our preseason All-American Second Team.
He'll lead a defensive unit expected to be among the best in the FCS. Last year, the Blue Hens ranked 10th in scoring defense (16.8).
