The Patriots problems are pretty obvious on the surface, albeit with no way of providing a quick fix. The defense has been beyond awful, allowing 128 points through four games which is the most in franchise history to open a season. They have also given up over 400 yards of offense to their rivals in each game this year and the Pats are on pace for the worst total defense since the merger.
Not even Tom Brady can overcome that each week.
