The Monday night NFL game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Washington Redskins was one that went down to the wire and that had a unique ending. The Redskins were driving late and had a chance to take a four-point lead with less than a minute to play. Unfortunately for 'Skins fans, wide receiver Josh Doctson was unable to pull down a Kirk Cousins pass and they had to settle for a field goal.
Then things really got wild.
The Chiefs ended up winning by nine points, despite being tied with just eight seconds to play. A field goal gave them the lead, before a scoop and score by Justin Houston as the Redskins tried a doomed lateral play gave the Chiefs a winning margin that only mattered to those who like to gamble.
