Two of the catches on this list – No. 4 and No. 2 – are from the Houston Texans attempt to run down the Kansas City Chiefs in the Sunday night game. This was when the Texans had changed their offense to "throw vertically and see how high we can jump", a strategy that worked whenever the ball was thrown in the vicinity of either TE Stephen Anderson or WR DeAndre Hopkins. The Hopkins catch is especially impressive, but he does it every week so its almost expected at this point.
The only catch ranked higher on this list is the one made by Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku against the New York Jets, a falling and sprawling effort that is much more difficult than it looks on first viewing.
