Yet another weekend of wins by both North Carolina A&T and Grambling means the Celebration Bowl picture feels relatively unchanged as we head into the last week of regular season play in the Southwestern Athletic Conference and the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

Alcorn State waiting for a date
The Alcorn State Braves cruised past Mississippi Valley State 59-0, clinching the SWAC East division in the process. Now the Braves need to wait and see what happens in the west, where Grambling and Southern will play for the division lead next week.
Grambling took down Alabama State and Southern held off Texas Southern — the Bayou Classic on Saturday will determine who takes on Alcorn State in the SWAC Championship.

North Carolina A&T Continues Perfect Run
Nothing new to report in the MEAC, as North Carolina A&T stayed perfect with a 36-17 win over Savannah State to make it 10-0 on the season. NC A&T plays North Carolina Central in the finale next week after the Eagles picked up a second conference loss Saturday against Bethune-Cookman.
An NC A&T win means an outright conference title and a spot in the Celebration Bowl for the Aggies.
