The 2018 FCS Playoffs have wrapped and 124 hearty souls chimed in for the HERO Sports FCS Bracket Pick'Em Challenge (Thank You!). The 16-point championship game is a wrap and it's NDSU for its 7th title of this decade.

Congrats again to Kennesaw State fan Darik Anderson of Cartersville (Ga.) who has been stubborn as hell and led nearly every round. He had NDSU as his winning pick and was one of the few pickers who had Duquesne beating Towson in the first round. He beat me (Brian McLaughlin) by three points to win the contest, 67 to 64 (see how we scored it below).
Northern Iowa fan Brant B. took third by himself (63 points) and then we had a four-way tie at 62, with NDSU fan Sonny B. getting the tiebreaker for 4th because of his SEMO pick in the first round and Maine pick in the second, while Montana fan Brandon C. nailed down 5th thanks to his SEMO pick in the first round, which wasn't a common pick. HERO Sports' Sam Herder and self-proclaimed "FCS fan" Ken G. rounded out the quartet, and 8th place went to "fans of many FCS teams" picker Garrett M., who beat out all of the others with 61 points by using our first tiebreaker (see below) — notching 7 points in the first round to their 5.

TIEBREAKERS: First, number of 1st round games correct … then 2nd round … and each round to the national title game. If all is still tied, we go to biggest upset picked starting with the first round, then second. "Upsets" in the first round are defined by how many pickers selected it, since there are no seeds for first-round play. We have tiered prizes for the Top 8.
