Welcome to the FCS Coaches Corner Podcast on the HERO Sports Podcast Network. This week Brian McLaughlin catches up with Central Arkansas head football coach Nathan Brown, and they discuss the big comeback win over FBS Western Kentucky, the direction the program is going, how good the Southland Conference has gotten, and how do you balance all of this and still be a good dad and husband? The Bears will take on a strong Austin Peay program this weekend, and should be a team to watch all season.

Last year, Central Arkansas went 6-5 in Brown's first year as the head coach (he previously served as an assistant) and very nearly won two-to-three more games. Not too shabby for what looked to be a "rebuilding" year in the eyes of those of us in the media. Maybe it's because of what is coursing through Brown's veins?
"I think if I slit my wrists, I'd bleed purple," Brown told B-Mac on the Podcast.
