The Green Bay Packers officially open the 2017 season with the start of training camp July 26.
The start of training camp comes seven months after they lost to the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship, their third NFC title game loss in the last 10 years. Head coach Mike McCarthy, entering his 12th season, is the third-longest-tenured head coach in the NFL, sitting only behind Marvin Lewis and Bill Belichick.
McCarthy is 114-61-1 in the regular season and 10-8 in the postseason. Though he did help deliver Super Bowl XLV — the Packers' first championship in 14 years — he and the team's veterans have taken heat for failing to win another.
“It’s starting to piss me off a little bit,” offensive tackle David Bakhtiari said this offseason, echoing similar frustrations from other players. “You’re not guaranteed another year. Keep getting close and not making it is stressful. We’ve got to collectively — we’ve got to do more. . . . The Green Bay Packers — I mean, the trophy is the Lombardi Trophy. We have to get back there and win it.”
Their quest to "get back there" and "win it" begins with training camp on July 26. Scroll down for training camp location, dates, roster and notes.

Packers Training Camp Location
Ray Nitschke Field, Clark Hinkle Field and Don Hutson Center – Ashwaubenon, Wis.
While players will stay on the campus of St. Norbert College — just 10 minutes south of Lambeau Field in De Pere — for the 60th year in a row, all practices will be held at their facilities across the street from Lambeau Field, which are amusingly also not in Green Bay.

Packers Training Camp Roster
The Packers will have a standard 90-man roster when they open training camp on July 26, and barring a last-minute change, they'll have 33 rookies in camp. Heavy attention will be paid to second-round cornerback Kevin King and third-round safety Josh Jones, who spent a lot of OTAs in a hybrid linebacker/safety role.
They have six players entering at least their 10th season, led by 13th-year quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the team's longest-tenured player. Among that group are tight end Martellus Bennett and guard Jahri Evans, both of whom signed during free agency.
