NFL DRAFT HIGHLIGHTS: Alex Cappa, OT — Humboldt State

HERO Sports by HERO Sports
February 1, 2018

The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling National Title Game. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.

Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.

COMPARE: Alex Cappa (2017) vs. Mike McGlinchey (2017)

This video from SB Colts Cast features Humboldt State LT, Alex Cappa. Cappa is the only player in history to be named the GNAC Offensive Lineman of the Year four times. He is aiming to be the first player from D2 Humbolt State to be drafted since the NFL Draft shifted from 12 to seven rounds.

At 6-foot-7 and 305 pounds, Cappa certainly has the size to play LT in the NFL. The question he needs to answer over the next couple of month is if he has the speed and agility to deal with NFL level defensive ends.
