The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Anthony Averett (2017) vs. Duke Dawson (2017)
This video from Harris Highlights features Alabama CB Anthony Averett. Averett is a smart cornerback who played very well within the Nick Saban system at Alabama. In 2017, Averett had 48 tackles, eight pass breakups, and an interception. While he is a solid cover corner, Averett needs to work on his ability to finish plays and make a play on the ball when it is in the air. If he can add this aspect of the game to his solid coverage skills then he will be a Day 2 steal in the 2018 NFL Draft.
