The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling National Title Game. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Armani Watts (2017) vs. Ronnie Harrison (2017)
This video from DEVO Highlights looks at the highlights of Texas A&M safety Armani Watts. Watts has a third to fifth round grade at this point in the draft process and he is a player that is instinctive and always around the ball despite lacking the elite speed NFL scouts look for in a defensive back. In 2017 he totaled 87 tackles, five pass breakups, four interceptions and two forced fumbles. If Watts can improve his man coverage skills – especially against big bodied players at the TE position – then he could be a steal.
