The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Da'Shawn Hand (2017) vs. Harold Landry (2017)
This video from Cut Up Corner features Alabama DE Da'Shawn Hand. Hand is not going to be a defensive end that blows NFL teams away with his pass rushing skills. What the big Crimson Tide end does – and does very well – is anchor that spot against the running game, forcing backs to run back inside and into the welcome arms of his linebackers. At 6-foot-3 and 282 pounds, Hand is a big unit. In 2017 he picked up 27 tackles and three sacks, but he is a player where individual stats are trumped by how he frees up his teammates.
