The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: DeAndre Goolsby (2017) vs. Ethan Wole (2017)
This video from Chris Lee features Florida TE DeAndre Goolsby. At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds (with a frame that could hold more) DeAndre Goolsby looks like an NFL tight end. The problem that Goolsby will have leading into the NFL Draft is that had just didn't play to any kind of level at Florida, especially in 2017.
Goolsby missed five games through injury last season, but in the Gators remaining games, he totaled just 13 receptions for 105 yards. The Florida passing game was terrible in 2017 – due to awful quarterback play – and Goolsby will need to impress at his Pro Day to get back on the radar of NFL scouts.
