The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Duke Dawson (2017) vs. M.J. Stewart (2017)
This video from Chris Lee features Florida CB Duke Dawson. Dawson is probably going to be a mid-round selection in the 2018 NFL Draft. In the pros, he projects as a slot cornerback as he lacks ideal height but has the quickness to cover the smaller receivers that dominate in the slot.
He is also good at playing what he can see, using his above-average instincts to close on the ball and make plays. That is how he totaled 34 tackles, nine pass break-ups, and four interceptions in 2017.
