The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Jack Cichy (2017) vs. Chris Worley (2017)
This video from features Wisconsin LB Jack Cichy. Cichy is going to be an interesting conversation in draft war rooms. In 2016 he was a very productive defender for Wisconsin, racking up 60 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, and 1.5 sacks. He was expected to be a huge contributor in 2017, but he was lost for the season in fall camp after suffering an ACL tear. A medical redshirt seemed the likely way to go, but Cichy instead declared for the NFL draft.
