The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Jaleel Scott (2017) vs. Trey Quinn (2017)
This video from LaManna Highlights features New Mexico State WR Jaleel Scott. In a league where two types of wide receivers are prioritized, Scott falls into the group of really tall guys who can make a play in the red zone.
The 6-foot-6, 215-pounder is never going to use his quicks to find holes in a zone, but after catching 73 passes for 1,042 yards and nine touchdowns last year he is clearly a matchup problem when he is on the field.
His value comes in his athleticism in going up and catching jump ball style passes at the top of their arc and that skill will see him taken at some point on Day Three.
