The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Jaylen Samuels (2017) vs. Akrum Wadley (2017)
This video from SkyDesigns features NC State TE/RB Jaylen Samuels. Samuels did a little bit of everything during his career with the Wolfpack. Listed as a TE – a position he will never see in the NFL due to being 5-feet-11 — S-amuels was really just a player NC State used to create matchup problems for a defense.
In 2017, Samuels had 76 receptions for almost 600 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for over 400 yards and 12 touchdowns at a rate of 5.2 yards per carry.
Samuels is probably best suited as a running back with outstanding pass-catching skills in the NFL, but the right team will be able to use his skill set creatively to get him touches.
