The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling National Title Game. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.

In any given year you see no more than a couple of punters drafted, but if one or two are taken this year then there is a high probability that Townsend will be among them. He averaged 47.5 yards per punt as a senior – after averaging 47.9 yards per punt as a junior – with a long of 70 yards this past season. Townsend is a player who can alter field position with his punting and that is why he is on the NFL radar.
