The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Jordan Akins (2017) vs. Durham Smythe (2017)
This video from Cut Up Corner features UCF TE Jordan Akins. The 6-foot-3, 246 pound Akins is a player who will likely find his niche as either a receiving tight end or H-back in the NFL.
At 26, Akins is older than the vast majority of the prospects on the board, but he has the ability to run good routes and he can make a catch in traffic with his strong hands and the ability to box out a defensive back. In 2017 the UCF player caught 32 passes for 515 yards and four touchdowns. Expect to see him go some time after the fourth round.
