The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Josh Sweat (2017) vs. Chad Thomas (2017)
This video features Florida State EDGE rusher Josh Sweat. Sweat was a high school superstar who arrived in Tallahassee with massive expectations. While he never quite reached the heights at Florida State that some expected – injury was a huge reason for that – he still put in some outstanding performances before declaring for the NFL draft with a year of eligibility remaining.
In 2017 Sweat had 56 tackles, 12.5 tackles for a loss, and 5.5 sacks. If he stays healthy he can be a better pro than college player as a specialist pass-rushing end/linebacker.
