The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Lorenzo Carter (2017) vs. Roquan Smith (2017)
This video from Harris Highlights features Georgia LB Lorenzo Carter. Carter will be the second Georgia linebacker off of the board after Roquan Smith, but he is a very good player in his own right and is unlikely to fall below the second or third round. His level of play improved as a senior, where he picked up 57 tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles on the year. He is athletically gifted and could develop nicely into a three-down NFL defender.
