The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Luis Perez (2017) vs. Josh Allen (2017)
This video features Texas A&M-Commerce QB Luis Perez. Perez had monster numbers for the Lions over the last two seasons and he led his team to the 2017 NCAA Division II National Championship as a senior. He was awarded the 2017 Harlon Hill Trophy — the D2 equivalent of the Heisman — after completing 421-of-596 passes for 4,999 yards, 46 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
Perez was invited to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl on the back of his monster season and while the jump up in class will obviously be steep, Perez has shown he has enough about his game to be given a shot as a late rounder/training camp arm.
