The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Marcus Allen (2017) vs. Natrell Jamerson (2017)
This video from DEVO Highlights features Penn State S Marcus Allen. Allen is an old school safety who does his best work stepping up in run support. In 2016 he was especially effective, making 110 tackles with six for a loss. In 2017 his tackle numbers slipped down to 72, but he did register two forced fumbles and an interception, showing he was the ability to create a turnover. Allen will be a late round pick and he will have to show his NFL employer that he can be a better pass defender if he wants to make an impact anywhere other than on special teams.
