The 2018 NFL Draft is coming at us quickly now that we have witnessed yet another thrilling national championship. The yearly extravaganza will take place in Arlington, Texas, from Thursday, April 26 to Saturday, April 28 this year.
Over the span of three days, a whole host of former college football stars will find new homes where they will hopefully impress during the offseason and make a living playing on Sundays.
COMPARE: Mike Hughes (2017) vs. Donte Jackson (2017)
This video from JustBombsProductions features UCF CB Mike Hughes. In 2017 Hughes totaled 49 tackles, four interceptions, 11 passes broken up and one forced fumble. The Knights — under head coach Scott Frost — put together an undefeated season and the play of Hughes in the secondary was a big contributing factor.
Evaluators like his ability to cover in man to man defensive situations and his ability to score on special teams (three total return touchdowns) is a massive plus.
