Wofford got on the board first, picking up a first down with a big play from Blake Morgan for 38 yards on fourth down in their first drive to set up a 40-yard field goal and take a 3-0 lead.

Wofford battled back and took advantage of a NDSU fumble, going down a short field and capping the drive with a 3-yard touchdown plunge from Andre Stoddard.

A Wofford fumble gave North Dakota State a short field, and the Bison capitalized before the end of the first half to go up 28-10 on a 4-yard TD pass from Stick to Jeff Illies.
