COMPARE: Ogbonnia Okoronkwo (2017) vs. Bradley Chubb (2017)
This video from DEVO Highlights features Oklahoma DE Ogbonnia Okoronkwo. Okoronkwo is a player with a massive wingspan who was a standout during Senior Bowl week in Mobile. The former Sooner was productive in 2017, where he racked up eight sacks, 76 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, and three forced fumbles.
While he has a habit of getting too cute with his pass rush at times, Okoronkwo has a ridiculous first step that allows him to get the jump on most offensive tackles he will face. His size at 6-foot-1 and 242 pounds could be an issue, but in the right system, he can be a pass-rushing menace.
