Veldheer, an All-American during his time in a Chargers uniform, was selected 69th overall (3rd round) in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders, where he initially started his career as a center. He moved to tackle, and at times started at left tackle.
In 2014 Veldheer signed a 5-year $35 million dollar deal with the Arizona Cardinals, and this year he'll make $10 million dollars, the most of any right tackle in the NFL, according to HowMuch.net.
