Kevin Sumlin and Butch Jones opened the 2017 season tied for the best odds (+140) to being the first SEC head coach fired. Despite a 2-1 start that included a 34-point blown lead at UCLA and two unimpressive victories over Nicholls and UL-Lafayette, Sumlin no longer tops the list.
While the Jones and Sumlin still have the best odds from BetOnline.ag, Sumlin has drafted back to second at +275, while Jones — following their Hail Mary loss to Florida in Week 3 — now sits alone at +150.
