College football recruits usually leave their recruitment open despite verbally committing to a program. Therefore it's not surprising that four-star 2018 cornerback Isaiah Bolden is still taking calls and visits two months after committing to Oregon. It is, however, interesting that Oregon isn't his top choice, yet he remains committed to the Ducks.
Bolden, a 6-foot-2, 175-pounder from Zephyhills, Fla., committed to Florida State in June 2016. He then decommitted in April and pledged to Oregon.
"In life you take chances I love these coaches like no other at this time I will like to flip my commitment and proudly to say I am a Duck," he tweeted on April 29 while visiting Eugene.
The nation's 21st-ranked corner and 186th-overall recruit went back to Tallahassee for a three-day visit with his father and brother.
"It's a school where my parents want me to be, where I want to be, but I'm still deciding between FSU and Oregon, but right now I would say Florida State is one," Bolden told Warchant. "I got to call coach Fisher tonight and talk about some details."
Josh Newberg of 247Sports then asked if he flipped his commitment after talking with Fisher.
"No I haven't flipped my commitment. It's just a work in progress."
Newberg also confirmed his statement about Florida State being the leader.
"Yeah I got FSU in the one spot now," Bolden replied.
On Friday afternoon, he tweeted about the reports and rumors, saying, "U don't know where I'm going till NSD."
Reason why I have changes to my profile 2 my account going thru personal issues no one recommitted And U don't know where I'm going till NSD

Bolden did not set a date for an official announcement, nor did he say if he'll be making a return trip to Oregon or talking to first-year Ducks' head coach Willie Taggart before making a decision. He also carries offers from Auburn, Clemson, Florida and others.
Wherever Bolden lands, that program will be getting a big-bodied, lockdown corner.
