Apparently Jarvis Landry didn't feel properly equipped during pregame warmups in the event of a zombie apocalypse. Now he's all set.
The Miami Dolphins' fourth-year receiver is coming off a second-straight Pro Bowl season in which he had 94 receptions for 1,136 yards and four touchdowns. However, those numbers came with Ryan Tannehill at quarterback. With Tannehill out for the season with an ACL injury, he'll be catching passes from Jay Cutler, who returned from a brief retirement to take over a team with playoff aspirations.
And Cutler's primary target will be Landry, who unveiled some wild pregame cleats this week. Each shoe features more than 10 spikes protruding from the toe.
