The pipeline between junior college and FCS football and the FBS continues to grow, but a good amount of talent from the lower levels of college football still falls through the cracks.
One prime example of this is Jerod Evans, a legit dual-threat quarterback from Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas. Evans currently only has scholarship offers from BR-84 UAB (reinstating their program next year) and BR-48 Memphis, but his style and level of play make him fit into many prolific college offenses that run the spread option.
